My name is Jessica Di Mascio and I am a BACP accredited counsellor and EMDR therapist working individually with adults, adolescents and children. I have worked in charities and schools across Kent and Bromley for over ten years, and enjoy being able to offer a calm, reflective and non-judgmental space to people of all ages. .
As an Integrative Counsellor, I use different therapeutic approaches and tailor these to suit your individual needs and circumstances. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your emotions, heal from past wounds, and develop the tools needed to live a fulfilling and authentic life. I see counselling as a collaborative process, working together to find a better understanding, and to move towards growth and healing.

I offer a child-centred approach, where each child is seen as a unique individual with their own strengths and struggles. I work to create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment. It can be hard for children to express their emotions in the same way as adults, and sometimes this can result in behaviours which can be viewed as problematic. As an integrative counsellor, I incorporate play and art into my work with children, as this is a natural mode of expression which can help children to communicate and process their emotions at their own pace.
The teenage years are a critical period of development accompanied by a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional changes. This can often lead to stress, confusion, and difficulty coping. I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space to work through issues including:
Parent counselling sessions / consultations focus on the relationship between yourself and your child. As a parent, it can feel like a never-ending task, juggling the competing demands of work, home and family life. These sessions help to address this balance and to focus on your individual needs alongside your relationship with your children. Parent counselling can also help you to better understand your child’s behaviours and to consider how underlying emotional issues may be driving these behaviours.
Sessions are 1-1 or group-based – please contact me for further details of parenting groupwork sessions.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is a research-supported treatment that helps individuals of all ages process distressing memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote healing.
I primarily offer 1-1 sessions from my room in Chislehurst. In addition to providing face-to-face therapy, I also offer online sessions for clients.
